CLASSIC COASTAL

Set in a traditional foundation, with custom millwork and inlaid wood floors, my client envisioned a home of relaxed living and New England charm. Nautical blues are splashed throughout the home in patterned wool rugs, geometric tile patterns, and accent fabrics of stripes and modern florals. Natural textures of rattan and leather are woven into contemporary furnishings, making a nod to a coastal influence. Timeless marble updates the kitchen and simplifies the fireplace surround to show off the contemporary artwork. Wallpaper, lighting, custom built-ins and furniture were layered to create a lived-in feel, embracing a modern style that honors the home’s traditional architecture.
