MID-CENTURY RANCH
Set in a classic Ranch style home, this client asked for a way to combine their love of Mid-Century design and bold colors to make their home match their vibrant energy. Connecting the kitchen to the dining, we added a window over the range to expand light between the two rooms, and expand sightlines for entertaining. Keeping it simple with classic black and white cabinetry, we used a Bertazzoni Giallo (yellow) range as a focal point to highlight their excitement for color and making a statement below the added window.
Keeping the striking black and white contrast into the bathrooms, the hall bath is punctuated by a pink accent wall in the shower. With black hexagon floors to ground the space, making a nod to Mid-Century design, the white picket tiles flanking the accent wall show their boldness in mixing patterns and color. Continuing their playful nature into the powder room with graphic cement tiled floors, contrasting rich blue wall tiles, showcases their modern style in a supercool way.
